I am an interactive designer and art director in Portland, Oregon. With over a decade of experience, I have designed and directed everything from packaging and identities to advertising campaigns and digital experiences.
In the middle of my advertising career, I returned to college to study interactive theory and digital media design. While holding a full-time position at Leopold Ketel and Partners and co-owning an indie record label, I graduated with high honors from the Art Institute of Portland.
Since then, I have focused almost exclusively on interactivity and digital communication. I specialize in concept development, experience design, art direction and honest, strategic branding.
I am currently part of the team at Substance where we design and build interactive experiences. I am also one of the members of the New Communicators team. We are currently trying to create an open-source conference in which the public organizes their own events during the same few days in Portland to share their experiences in online and offline communication in order to educate and inspire others to start conversations of their own.
